Stenographer writes down what you hand it — up to 10000 characters — and turns it into a timestamped certificate: these words, on this date, in this form.
Paste text or other content — a line you already wrote, or words you type here, into the record field on this page, above. Checkout is required as an accounting of who submitted it. This is not an official court transcript and not legal advice. It is a cryptographic receipt: a hash of the text plus a trusted timestamp.
Testify is a display switch — it hides the words on screen, not in the file.
On each certificate, Testify toggles between eigencode and the words you typed. The page does not have to stare back at you in clear text while you are in a shared room. That is a display switch on the file you hold. It is not a lock on the email or a vault on our server. Anyone who has the file can open it. If you are new to this: save the HTML attachment to your own disk, open the view link when you want to read it on screen, and use the Testify / Witness toggle when you do not want the draft readable over your shoulder.
The Stenographer certificate is the same Witness record used on larger seats. What changes later is the character gate, not the method of proof.

Keep the attached file as inboxes can get deleted. The saved HTML attachment opens later, in YOUR browser, with no internet connection.
What you do not get
- An official legal filing
- Analysis of what the words mean
- File upload (that comes on later seats)
- Encryption that hides the words from whoever has the file
